< Webpage Design >

I've been a patron of the web for many years now, and all too often I come across a webpage or website that it literally hurts to look at. Some problems stem from a lack of knowledge of HTML, or HyperText Markup Language, the programming language used in creating webpages, but many problems relate to poor design concepts in general. This is much more common among the ranks of personal homepages, but even some "professional" webdesigners are guilty.

Please do not misinterpret the purpose of this page; I do not intend to attack anyone, but simply to help future and present webdesigners, amateur or professional, from making common mistakes that can be easily avoided.

If you have any interest in designing webpages, even if you've been doing it for years, please sift through these pages. You may learn something useful.
